Extension of services outside the Municipal Area.

(2) The agreement may provide for the transfer or

retention of any property, debts and liabilities, with or

without any conditions, and for the joint use of any

property, and for the transfer of any functions, and for

payment by either party to the agreement in respect of

property, debts, functions and liabilities so transferred

or retained, or of such joint user, and in respect of the

remuneration or compensation payable to any officer or

person and that either by way of a capital sum or of

terminable anmity.

(3) On default of agreement as to any matter requiring

adjustment, such adjustment shall be referred to the Governor

and the award of the Governor thereon may provide for any

matter for which an agreement might have provided.

(4) Any sum required to be paid for the purpose of an

adjustment under this section, may be paid out of such fund

or rate as may be specified in the agreement or award, or if

no fund or rate is so specified, may, in the case of a

payment by the Government be paid out of the general revenue

of the Colony and in the case of a payment by the Council

be paid out of the fund or rate from which the general

expenses of the Council are paid or out of any sun borrowed

for the purpose with the sanction of the Governor.

Extension of Municipal Services outside Municipal Area.

72. (1) The Council shall, on the written request af

the Governor, discharge in such place or places outside the

Municipality as the Governor may specify all such functions

as the Governor may require of the same nature as those

which the Council is, by this or any other enactment,

authorized or required to discharge within the Municipality.

(2) For the purposes of this section the Council may

appoint a committee or comittees, or concur in the

appointment of a joint committee or joint comittees for
